Dear Boots,
You were such a dear and special kitty to me, not so much to others at times, but you were always my faithful companion. I could count on you to cheer me up when I was feeling blue or under the weather, as I could count on you to cause a major amount of trouble the very next day. The best times were our walks, through the woods, in summer or through the snow you were by my side, or running after to catch up. Also the quiet moments at night when you would lie next to me under the blankets, purring and cuddling as close as you could to my side. Although our lives together are no more, I will never forget our companionship and the time we spent together. I love you dearly, and will miss hearing your meep choo, but I had to let you go. Your new home will be perfectly wonderful, you'll be spoiled like the princess you are, and your new country home is the palace that you deserve. Have fun playing in the woods and cornfields once again as you did when you were growing up. You can take the cat out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the cat.
